Saul Castillo is a seasoned Registered Professional Land Surveyor with nearly five decades of experience spanning municipal, federal, transportation, commercial, and master-planned community development projects across Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. A Houston native by upbringing, he discovered his passion for land surveying at age 12 and entered the profession in 1977, rising steadily from rear chainman to party chief through a combination of hands-on expertise and technical aptitude.

Throughout his career, Saul has contributed to landmark developments including First Colony, Cinco Ranch, Sienna Plantation, and Kingwood, as well as major infrastructure initiatives such as the Southwest Freeway expansion, Houston Intercontinental Airport, and the US Highway 59/Interstate 69 corridor. His federal project portfolio includes work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Department of the Navy, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, reflecting a consistent record of delivering high-stakes surveying work in complex regulatory environments.

In 2000, Saul founded Azimuth Surveying Company Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona, specializing in commercial ALTA surveys, multi-level construction staking, and residential subdivision platting. His entrepreneurial leadership complemented a long professional track record that also includes right-of-way acquisition, boundary resolution, horizontal and vertical control networks, and topographic surveys for the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Most recently, Saul served as Senior Project Manager for the San Antonio River Authority in 2023, overseeing a four-mile boundary and creek right-of-way reconstruction for the restoration of Apache Creek.
